AF Movers ("AF Movers", "we", "us") is a movers and packers company based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, providing house, villa, office and furniture shifting services across the UAE. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

2. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you request a quote through our website form, by phone or on WhatsApp, we collect:
- Your name and phone number (and email address if you choose to give it)
- Details of your move: type of property (studio, apartment, villa, office), current and new location, preferred moving date, and any message or notes you send
- The content of calls, WhatsApp chats and emails between you and our team
- Payment details for booked moves are collected on the day of the move and are not stored on this website
Information collected automatically. When you visit afmoversuae.com, our hosting provider and the analytics/advertising tools described in section 4 may collect:
- IP address, approximate location (city level), device type, operating system and browser
- Pages viewed, buttons clicked (for example Call, WhatsApp or "Get Quote"), time on page and the site or advertisement that referred you
- Cookie identifiers and advertising identifiers as described in section 4
We do not collect payment card numbers, passwords, government ID numbers or any sensitive personal data through this website.
3. How we use your information

We only send marketing messages (for example a follow-up offer on WhatsApp) to people who have requested a quote, and you can ask us to stop at any time by replying "STOP" or emailing us.
4. Cookies & advertising tracking
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use them for the following:

Blocking cookies does not affect your ability to request a quote by phone, WhatsApp or the web form.
5. Who we share your data with
We never sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with:
- Our own moving crew and office staff who need it to give you a quote and carry out your move
- Service providers who host and run our website and email (Hostinger International Ltd. — web hosting and email delivery; Google LLC — Gmail, Tag Manager, Analytics and Ads as described above; Microsoft Corporation — Clarity analytics; Meta Platforms — WhatsApp, only when you choose to contact us there)
- Authorities or courts when required by UAE law, or to protect our legal rights, our staff or our customers
Some of these providers store data outside the UAE (for example Google's servers in the EU/USA). They are contractually required to protect it to a standard at least as strict as this policy.
6. How long we keep your data
- Quote requests that do not turn into a booking: up to 12 months, then deleted
- Booked moves, invoices and related correspondence: 5 years to meet UAE commercial and tax record-keeping requirements
- Website analytics and advertising data: according to Google's retention settings (Google Analytics data is set to 14 months); Microsoft Clarity keeps session recordings for 30 days
- Server logs and spam-protection records: up to 90 days
You can ask us to delete your data sooner (see section 8) unless we must keep it by law.
7. Security
Our website is served over HTTPS (SSL encryption). Quote requests are sent to our email over an encrypted connection and are accessible only to authorised staff. Configuration files and lead records on our server are protected from public access. No internet transmission is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data.
8. Your rights & choices
Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and, where applicable, other data-protection laws such as the EU/UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Delete your data ("right to be forgotten") where we have no legal duty to keep it
- Object to or restrict processing, including direct marketing — just tell us to stop
- Withdraw consent to cookies or advertising at any time (section 4)
- Complain to the UAE Data Office or your local data-protection authority

9. Children
Our services and website are intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example when we add a new tool to the website. The "last updated" date at the top shows the current version. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
